Just one four-day weekend, as long as four years
Full to the brim with love and with tears.
None of us now wants to stay the same
shedding the pain, the horror, the shame.

Led by two angels with loving strength
guiding us gently the whole endless length
from childhood to hell to sharing our story.
Leading us soldiers from purgatory
into a full view of pain and the glory
of brotherhood that has the power to teach -
teaching us choices to love and to reach:
reach inward and outward to transform our nightmare
into a mission of wisdom and care.
